I have always believed that there is an artist in everyone, it only appears when the person sharpens their ability to really see what they are looking at.  I recreate what is interesting to me and will provide something that will be enjoyed regardless of what is contemporary at the moment. I aim to capture in an oil or watercolor the same framing as through a  camera lens, as though I have just taken a photograph. Yet, the painting still holds the raw texture and variety of tones only found with painting on a canvas.

Becoming an artist is about

observation, not information.
